Follow local codes and permits. Use a licensed pro where required for structural, electrical, or plumbing work. Verify every measurement before you cut.
- Read the battery sheet for fuse size and charge limits.
- Put the fuse as close to the positive post as you can.
- Add a disconnect you can reach.
- Keep metal tools off the posts.
- Do not put it in a bedroom or a sealed hot box.
- Stop and hire a licensed electrician if this ties to a house.
