A few days. Call 811. Keep livestock off the pad until it is compacted. NRCS practice 561 is the conservation reference, not a design for your gate.
Verify every measurement before you cut.
- Call 811.
- Strip soft mud at the gate or the waterer.
- Lay fabric.
- Place coarse stone and compact it.
- Cap with fines so the surface locks.
- Ask your NRCS office whether practice 561 fits this pad before you count on cost-share.
